Introduction We at Spectrum Trips , strive hard to ensure that you have the best experience while using our services and products through our website www.spectrumtrips.com . Despite of our best efforts to give you the top-quality service and keep you happy, there are times when you might feel the need to cancel the bookings for circumstances beyond your or our control. This policy lists down the terms and conditions about our Cancellation and Refunds Policy so that in case you do decide to cancel your bookings, or seek refunds, you do not face any difficulties. The terms and conditions contained hereinafter (“Cancellation and Refunds Policy”) shall apply to you (“you” or “your”) and your bookings made with us in relation to the services offered by Spectrum Trips (“the Company” or “we” or “our” or “us”). 2. Foreign Exchange Conversion The Exchange rate quoted by us with respect to all the currencies might differ from reference rates which may be shown in Google, Reserve Bank of India and other exchange rate conversion portal. There could be multiple reasons for such difference including factors like difference in reference rates and actual trade rates, bank commissions on exchange services, day to day volatility in exchange rate margin etc. 3. Payment Terms 3.1 We request for an advance payment of 500 (USD/EUR/GBP) per person or INR 35,000 per person (if paying via payment gateway) once the travel plan is confirmed, in order for us to start your bookings. 3.2 The balance amount has to be paid to us upon completion of your bookings and after we have sent you all your Hotel Vouchers / Flight and Train E-tickets, etc. 3.3 If your trip starts in more than forty five days, you can choose to pay us the balance in two parts:- 50% balance upon receipt of all your Hotel, Train and Flight vouchers; and Balance 50% – forty five days prior to your trip start date. 3.4 We request for an advance payment of 100% for passport processing. Additional charges related to passport will be specified to be paid in person at passport office by our office. 4. Payment Methods 4.1 We accept all types of Visa, Mastercard, Rupay and you can pay us using any of these cards (credit or debit) on our website. If any transaction fee and/or convenience fee is charged by the card issuing bank then such transaction fee and/or convenience fee would be added and reflected in your invoice.\ 4.2 We also accept bank transfers. However, the transfer fee, if any, charged by the bank has to be borne by you and must be added to the payment amount being remitted to our bank account i.e we should receive the amount net of any charges or other levies by the bank. 4.3 Payments can be made using wire transfers or payment gateways. Cancellation and Refund Policy 5.1 We are very fair with cancellation and refunds and should you have to cancel your trip we would refund the following, subject to paragraphs 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 above, to the maximum extent possible: Amounts paid for the hotel reservation subject to the said hotel’s cancellation and refund policy. i.e. we would refund all the amounts which are refunded by the concerned hotel. Refunds of airfare are subject to the relevant airline policy on cancellation and refund. If there are any cancellation fee charged by the concerned airline then we will be able to refund the amount received from the concerned airline subject to such cancellation charges by the airline. Flight refunds would be as per airline policies. After deducting the airlines cancellation fee we would refund the balance amount. If any train has been booked as per your travel plan then the refund of the train fare would be subject to the railways cancellation policy. We will refund the entire as received from the railway authorities. If you have paid for any car hiring charges then we will use our best efforts to refund you the entire amount paid for such car hire. If you have paid any amount for any of activities offered by us then we will use our best efforts to refund the entire amount paid for such activity.
